Sri Sai Lions Netralaya has been established with a vision to create an avoidable blindness free society. A society where everyone has the right to see the beautiful world. SSLN is a not-for-profit Eye Hospital run by a charitable trust, Lions of Patna Service Trust. SSLN is a 150 bed Eye Hospital with well trained and Highly skilled Doctors, paramediacal staffs and health managers.
The hospital provides many specialized services and possesses advanced diagnostics equipmentas well as 5 full-fledged operation theatres. Since, its inception in December 2004, SSLN has been working towards prevention of blindness in and around Bihar (India) and up till now it has perfoormed more than 2,00,000 + cataract & other eye related sugeries such a Glaucoma, DCR, DCT, Squint, etc.; out of which more than 85% are being done free of cost. Right from the beginning 'High Volume and High Quality' has beeen the forte of SSLN.
Presently, SSLN is proliferating through innovative measures like intensive outreach screening camps through mobile eye clinic and running vision centers with GPS based patient's data, Integrated with hospital Management System.
SSLN, Patna is committed towards its mission to prevent blindnes, restore eyesight, promote eye health and aims to provide low-cost affordable access to high quality eye care services for all, especially for those living in povery. We are focusing on reaching more elderly people and children.
All these activities are just a start of a journey - a - journey where everyone can see the beautiful world. A Sight First world is therefore continously created by SSLN & its team.
