Sri Sai Lions Netralaya (SSLN) aims to build a society free from avoidable blindness, where everyone has the right to sight. Operated by the Lions of Patna Service Trust, SSLN is a not-for-profit, 150-bed eye hospital staffed with skilled doctors, paramedics, and health managers.

Since its inception in December 2004, Sri Sai Lions Netralaya (SSLN) has been dedicated to preventing blindness across Bihar. Equipped with advanced diagnostics and 5 operation theatres, the hospital offers specialized eye care services. SSLN has performed over 2,00,000 surgeries—including cataract, glaucoma, DCR, DCT, and squint—with more than 85% provided free of cost. From the start, SSLN has focused on delivering high-volume, high-quality eye care.

Presently, SSLN is proliferating through innovative measures like intensive outreach screening camps through mobile eye clinic and running vision centers with GPS based patient's data, Integrated with hospital Management System.

SSLN, Patna is dedicated to preventing blindness, restoring vision, and promoting eye health by offering affordable, high-quality eye care—especially to those living in poverty. The focus remains on reaching more elderly individuals and children.

All these activities are just a start of a journey - a - journey where everyone can see the beautiful world. A Sight First world is therefore continously created by SSLN & its team.
